As well established by Patagonia in the 1970s, the classic rugby shirt is equally well suited to climbing and outdoor adventuring (due to its durable fabric and comfortable shape) as it is to the rugby field. At Battenwear, we spent most of our high school years collecting rugby shirts and putting them to all kinds of tests. We were, and continue to be, a bit obsessed. We're delighted to present Battenwear's own Rugby Shirt! We made a 12 oz version for FW18 and got a great response, and this 6 oz version for SS19 is one of the items we’re most excited about. We added the chest pocket for greater utility and made the shirt in both solid and classic 4-in stripe.
